On apostasy
Apostasy Penance
You have severed a covenant. Penance must be done before another shrine may take you in.
A broken covenant does not pass unmarked. Until penance is complete, this plot cannot be re-consecrated. The longer your prior devotion, the longer the road back.
On heresy
Heresy Tax
This shrine's covenant does not match your current patron. Its offerings and trickle are diminished.
A shrine consecrated to one patron cannot fully serve another. While you favor a different allegiance, this shrine returns only a portion of what it would give an aligned pilgrim.
