1. WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
Kneeshaw Developments LLC ("Kneeshaw Developments," "we," "us," or "our") is a Michigan-registered limited liability company that develops video games and related software. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit https://www.kneeshaw.dev and any subdomain we operate (the "Site"), and when you download or play our mobile games including but not limited to Titan Saga: Dungeons and Titan Saga: Idle (each a "Game," and together with the Site, the "Services"). If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the Services.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you provide. If you create an account, contact support, or subscribe to a mailing list, we collect the information you give us — typically an email address, a display name, and the content of your messages.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services we collect technical and usage data: device model and OS version, advertising identifiers (only if you have not opted out), coarse IP-derived location (country/region), session timestamps, app version, crash diagnostics, and aggregated gameplay statistics such as which screens you visited, what choices you made, and how long sessions lasted. On mobile we collect this through our game client and through SDKs listed in Section 5.
Game save data. Your in-game progress (hero data, card collection, dungeon progress, currencies, settings) is stored on your device. If you opt in to cloud save, an encrypted copy is synced to our servers so you can move between devices.
Purchase records. When you make an in-app purchase we receive a purchase token or transaction ID from Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit so we can grant the purchased content. We never see your full payment-card or banking details — those stay with the relevant app store.
Cookies and similar technology. On the Site we use a small number of first-party cookies for session and preference storage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Site. The Games do not use browser-style cookies.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
- Process in-app purchases via Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit and grant the entitlements you bought;
- Sync your game save to your account when you opt in to cloud save;
- Diagnose crashes and bugs and prioritize fixes (only when consent to analytics has been granted);
- Tune game balance and economy based on aggregated, anonymized gameplay statistics;
- Serve advertisements through AppLovin MAX (only when consent to personalized advertising has been granted; see Section 5);
- Respond to your support requests and comply with legal obligations.
4. LEGAL BASIS (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland we process your data on the following legal bases: consent for analytics, personalized ads, and ad tracking (which you control via the consent popup on first launch and the in-game Settings > Data & Privacy menu); contractual necessity for processing required to run the Services and complete your purchases; and legitimate interests for fraud prevention, security, and basic service improvement. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
5. WHO WE SHARE INFORMATION WITH
We share information with the following categories of service providers strictly for the purposes described:
- Google LLC — Google Play Billing (purchase processing on Android), Google Play Games Services (achievements, optional sign-in), Google Sign-In (account linking). Governed by Google's privacy terms.
- Apple Inc. — StoreKit (purchase processing on iOS), Sign in with Apple (when offered). Governed by Apple's privacy terms.
- AppLovin Corporation — AppLovin MAX advertising mediation. Only receives advertising identifiers and ad-interaction data when you have explicitly opted in to personalized ads and ad tracking. You can opt out at any time.
- Hosting and cloud-save providers — operate our backend infrastructure on our behalf under written contracts that require them to protect your data.
- Legal recipients — government authorities, courts, or law-enforcement when we are legally compelled to disclose.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising on the Site, and we do not allow our mobile-game advertising partner to use the data we share for any purpose other than ad measurement and delivery on our behalf.
6. IN-APP PURCHASES AND VIRTUAL CURRENCY
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing or Apple StoreKit. We receive a purchase token, transaction identifier, and the product you bought; we do not receive your payment card, address, or banking details. Virtual currency (such as Gems) and virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash. Refund requests are handled by the originating app store under their own refund policies. For first-purchase bonuses and similar promotions, we keep a local record of which products you have already bought so the bonus is only granted once.
7. CRASH REPORTS AND DIAGNOSTIC DATA
When the game encounters an error or crash, our client may collect a crash report containing: a session identifier, the error message and stack trace, the last ~30 in-game actions before the crash ("breadcrumbs" such as "entered Floor 3," "played card X," "opened settings"), basic device information (model, OS version, app version), and aggregated performance metrics. These reports are tied to a randomly generated session ID, not your real identity, and are used solely to fix bugs and crashes. You can disable diagnostic reporting via Settings > Data & Privacy > Analytics.
8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete your personal information, including your game account;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time;
- Port your data to another service in a structured format;
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] from the email address associated with your account (if any), or contact us in-app via Settings > Help > Contact Support. We will respond within 30 days. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected; we do not sell personal information.
9. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
We operate from the United States and our hosting providers are primarily located in the United States and the European Union. When we transfer personal information out of your region we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or an equivalent transfer mechanism, to protect your information.
11. DATA RETENTION
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Game saves persist until you delete your account or request deletion. Crash reports and aggregated analytics are kept for up to 24 months. Purchase records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law in our jurisdiction.
12. SECURITY
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS in transit, AES-256 encryption of cloud-save blobs, HMAC integrity signatures on save files, and access controls on our backend. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access will never occur, but we work to minimize the risk.
13. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Site and, where applicable, through an in-game re-consent prompt the next time you launch a Game. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
