Bind an essence.Rewrite an age.
A free idle RPG set in the Titan Saga universe. Bind essences of titan power to your champions, let two of them pick each hero's class from 13 archetypes, and keep quests, battles and your city running, even when the phone is in your pocket.

Three beats. No filler.
A session is 90 seconds or 90 minutes, your call. Here's the core loop every Titan Saga: Idle player runs on.
Bind two essences
Every hero starts Unclassed. Equip two essences and they choose a class from 13 archetypes, free the first time. After that, each essence you slot adds stats, a combat trigger, and its own skill branch.
Grind while you don't
Your crew keeps earning for up to 24 hours after you close the app, at the full rate between 4 and 12 hours away. Close the app, eat dinner, come back to stocked storehouses and quests ready to claim.
Prestige and push deeper
Clear all 500 Proving Grounds stages, then Ascend. Stage progress resets, you bank Titan Cores for the Titan Core shop, and every Ascension adds a permanent +3% to all stats and +15% to idle stage rewards.
Parties out. Loot in.
Send parties out on timed quests. They march, they fight, and they come back with gold, XP, clouded essences and a story. When one hits a choice worth making, it waits for your Command.

87 essences.
Six rarities. Five titan links.
A hero's first two essences decide their class from 13 archetypes. After that, every essence you slot brings its own stats, combat trigger and skill branch. Same hero, different game. Common to Virtue, all real, all in the live data.

Essence
Every clouded essence is opened on screen
Identify one and the orb shakes, cracks and bursts to show what was inside. From Chapter 2, about one standard Identify in a hundred comes up Legendary, and the ceremony knows it.
A whole game.
Free in your pocket.
Six pillars. Real numbers, real systems. No drip-fed tease: every mode below is in the live build today.
The Chronicle
102 hand-authored story quests across 17 chapters, 17 regions and 221 locations to scout, plus 80 bounties on the board. Auto-battle when you want it. Hands-on when it counts.
Soul Descent
Descend floor by floor through five tiers of the soul realm, opened after Chapter 2. 86 bosses, 10 runes and 140 boons, every run rolled fresh, and every depth you clear pays soulfire for your soul tree.
Trophy Arena
16 leagues from Bronze III to Legend. Set a 3v3 defense team, attack other players' defenses whenever you like, and climb on trophies. Season rewards scale with your league, up to 500 gems at Legend.
The Forge
87 essences, 13 archetypes, 12 backstories, 11 races and 25 equipment sets. Essences swap freely until a member's first rank-up, and changing class costs 500 gold, so you can try a new build without starting over.
World-Boss Raids
Your alliance picks a world boss (Iron Colossus, Shadow Wyrm, Titan Guardian, Void Behemoth or Ancient Dragon) and wears it down together, with your share of the damage on the defeat report. 15 rotating alliance goals on top, and 20 Boss Raids like The Hollow King and Ironscale Wyrm to take on yourself.
Heralds & Pass
A 50-tier season pass with a free track and a premium track. Four seasonal Heralds, one per season: Verdant Colossus, Blazeborn Tyrant, Gale Reaper and Abyssal Leviathan, each with six difficulty tiers.
Your first week.
Session length: as short as 90 seconds. As long as you want. Here's the shape of the first seven days.
- Day 1
First quest, first class
Create your champion and run a 30-second first mission, then Identify your first clouded essence. Hire a recruit at the Tavern, equip a second essence to choose your archetype, and step into the Proving Grounds.
Your first Identify is always Rare or Epic. - Day 3
Running on idle gains
Build your first producer, set a Production Focus and add Housing so it runs at full rate. Then it keeps earning while you're away: the full rate from 4 to 12 hours offline, and up to 24 hours in total. Log in twice a day, collect, send the next quests, push the story, close the app.
Two check-ins a day keeps the crew at full rate. - Day 7
Chapter 1 cleared, the world opens
Clearing Chapter 1 opens Expeditions, Weekly Contracts, Crafting, the Treasury, Alliances and Boss Raids. In Chapter 2 your quests start pausing at decision beats you settle with Command, and errands arrive to keep idle members busy.
One chapter clear unlocks six new systems.
Every essence.
Every node. Every patch.
The open Titan Saga: Idle wiki, checked against the live client build, so what you see is what your client sees. Build theorycraft without leaving the browser.

87 essences with slot triggers and skill-tree branches.
Archetypes & skills
Thirteen archetypes, three paths each, every node spelled out.
Soul tree
Per-character passive tree fed by soulfire. Every node.
Enemy families
Resistances, weaknesses, and the passive each family fights with.
Bosses & raids
World raid phases, Proving Grounds mechanics, recommended power.
Regions
Tier ranges, titan links, and what each region locks behind it.
Races
Stat ranges, profession weights, and titan-link affinities.
Patron shrines
Six faiths, doctrine tiers, and the recipes each gates.
Profession trees
Non-combat trunks and leaf actives for every profession.
What is changing next
Version notes, the reasoning behind each change, and a look ahead at 2.1.0: Roll Call, which brings the Marshal and the Brawler, both earned on the Proving Grounds ladder. The Corrupted class and the dice on every hidden quest check are already live.
Soul tree
206 nodes, five branches, one tree per member
Soulfire buys soul-tree nodes one at a time, and each tier opens as the tree fills in. Every member grows their own tree, and it survives every soul refine.

Yes. Every chapter, every class and every mode is free. Optional purchases cover gems, cosmetics and time-savers, and nothing gates progression behind a paywall. Command, the currency that pays for quest decisions, cannot be bought at all: it is earned on a wall clock and is in no bundle.
Yes. Your crew keeps working for up to 24 hours after you close the app (a Founder Lounge tier can stretch that cap). The rate follows a curve: the first 30 minutes earn at 50%, 30 minutes to 4 hours at 75%, 4 to 12 hours at the full rate, then 12 to 24 hours drop back to 50%, so checking in once or twice a day is the sweet spot. Your first two returns skip the curve and bank 100% of the time you were away. Two limits to know: each building only holds so much, so its output stops once its storage is full, and member salaries are still charged for every hour you are gone (though the gold owed while offline can never be more than the gold you earned offline). Away for three days or more? A comeback bonus pays a flat 85% rate with a multiplier on top. Region patrols keep running for up to 7 days. The tutorial gives you a free two-hour collection so you can see it happen before you close the app for real.
Same universe, different scale. Titan Saga: Idle is set earlier in the chronicle, in the age when mortals first began binding themselves to the fallen titans. The flagship Titan Saga (on Steam, in development) is a cinematic single-player RPG set later, during the Age of Ash.
Essences are the core build system, 87 of them in the live build. They arrive clouded and you identify them, which is where the rarity is decided. Each member carries two (your founder can earn a third slot on Founder's Road). The two essences a member equips decide which archetype (class) they are offered, and once they have a class, every equipped essence adds a five-node branch to their skill tree. Your very first identification always rolls Rare or Epic, and nothing identifies as Legendary until Chapter 2. Of the 14 Virtue essences, only Courage, Mercy and Hope can be pulled until the weekly Virtue rotation begins.
There is no hero gacha. Your first three come from the character wizard. After that, open Roster and tap Tavern to hire for gold: a base price, plus twice the candidate's power, plus 50 per member already on your roster, discounted if you have built Housing. Your roster starts capped at 4, so you have one open seat after the wizard. Recruits arrive Unclassed with empty essence slots; equip two essences to unlock their archetype. Some migrant families that reach your cities also bring a recruit, and members you released can be re-hired at about half price. The only pity ceiling in the game is on the virtued essence banner, not on people.
Because in Titan Saga: Idle the essences choose the class. Everyone, your founder included, starts Unclassed. Once a member has two essences equipped, the archetype picker opens and suggests the classes those two essences pull toward, or you can tap Decide Later and choose when you are ready. The first pick is free; changing it later costs 500 gold. The Choosing a class guide walks through it step by step.
Build producers in your cities: open the Map, tap a region's city, then the Districts tab. Each building needs three things: a region that allows it (Lumber Mill in Forest or Plains, Quarry in Mountains or Desert), a roster member with the matching profession (a Lumberer for the Lumber Mill, a Mason for the Quarry), and the gold to build it. Construction is instant, and producers fill their own storage, so collect regularly. Add Housing early, or the region's production takes a penalty. The Base setup guide has the full checklist.
Classes and essences arrive with content updates. The Marshal and the Brawler (four essences each) are next: once released, they are earned rather than bought, the Brawler at Proving Grounds stage 100 and the Marshal at stage 250. The recurring rhythm is smaller and steadier: a seven-day daily login cycle, weekly contracts, a bounty board that fully refreshes every 4 hours and tops itself up every 10 minutes, and Arena seasons run from the server.
Yes, asynchronous. The Arena offers three opponents at a time against a daily attack allowance, with revenge matches against anyone who hit you and seasons run from the server with their own reward track. Alliance bosses are the cooperative side: everyone in your alliance chips at the same boss on a 30-minute attack cooldown, with milestone rewards as its health falls past 5%, 10% and 25%.
iOS 15+ and Android 7+. One cloud save travels across both, so you can start on your phone at lunch and continue on your tablet at home. You can also play in a desktop browser at kneeshaw.dev/titan-saga-idle/play. A standalone PC or Steam release is not currently planned.
Your save syncs to the cloud, but by default it is tied to the device it was created on. Open the Account screen and link an email address (you confirm a 6-digit code) or sign in with Google, and your roster, chapter progress and gear come back on a new device exactly as you left them.
An initial connection is needed to sync your save, and Arena and alliance features need one to stay current. Solo play and offline collection work without a connection, and the app reconciles on the next sync.
Bind your first essence
in the next 90 seconds.
Your first Identify is always Rare or Epic, your first 72 hours run under the Founder's Blessing (1.5x gold and XP, quest timers halved), and the 7-day login calendar adds gold, clouded essences, essence dust and gems, ending in a day-7 chest you pick yourself. No credit card, no account setup.
Curious how the titans fell? The flagship Titan Saga is the single-player RPG set centuries later, in the Age of Ash.
