TITAN SAGA
An open-world simulation where every NPC is a real agent, every city runs its own economy, and every faction is fighting its own war. Cultivate essence, master Linear Motion combat, and ascend from Foundation to Monarch in a world that doesn't pause for you.
A world
that doesn't pause.
Titan Saga isn't a story you play through. It's an ecosystem you step into. Simulation over scripting — cities, factions, NPCs, and markets all run on their own clocks. Your role is to matter to it.
Autonomous agents
Every NPC has needs, goals, memory, and a profession. They eat, sleep, trade, train, and die without your input. When one remembers you helped her in Anvilheart, she means it.
Dynamic economy
Cities consume. Prices shift. When Rootcrown runs short on grain, the quest board posts a haul. A caravan master you've never met might take it instead of you. That's fine.
Emergent politics
Ten factions pursue their own goals — territory, essence nodes, dominance. Wars start on their schedule, not yours. You can fight in one, start one, or quietly profit from two.
The Titans
shaped the world.
Nine primal forces walked the world before The Silence, carving continents, seeding essence, and leaving nine regions that still pulse with their domains. You cultivate inside the shape they left behind.
Valdris
Creation through destruction
Sylvara
Nature, life, endless expansion
Khorath
Depth, secrets, forbidden knowledge
Aerithon
Freedom, chaos, transformation
Morthis
Entropy, time, inevitability
Zynthara

The Nameless
Nothingness. Anti-essence. Unknown.

Essence.
Ascension.
Essence is the energy the Titans left behind. Ten aspects, each with its own combat feel, visual signature, and path. You sense it, gather it, refine it into madra, and climb.

Combat that
moves in straight lines.
LMBS is built for clean, readable, momentum-driven action. Closer to classic action-RPG than abstract turns — you see the strike coming, you move, you answer.
Real-time 3D action combat
Weak and strong attacks that chain into combos. Curve-based attack movement. Dash cancels. Lock-on targeting with distance-coloured reticle. No turn queues — if you're hit, it's because you didn't move.
Dual energy pools
Stamina for movement and basic strikes. A second pool tied to your path — mana for casters, rage for berserkers, segment for duelists, charge for artificers. Managing both is half of what makes a Truegold a Truegold.
Attack patterns with tells
Enemies lunge, roar, bite, claw-combo, slash, and volley on readable patterns. Status effects land real — Attack Down, Bleed DOT, and more. Learn the animal, punish the animation.
Combat that touches the world
Every fight takes place inside the simulation. Killing a bandit captain shifts a nearby faction's morale. A caravan you defend remembers your face. The fight doesn't end when the HP bar empties.
Cities are
agents too.
Every city tracks needs, owns buildings, hires professions, and posts quests when it runs short. Every faction moves resources, armies, and spies with intent. The world is a web of systems already running — you plug in where you can carry weight.
15+ playable professions · 12 profession categories · All running at once

Questions of the age
An open-world fantasy simulation with real-time action combat. Every NPC is an autonomous agent with needs and goals, every city runs its own economy, and ten factions pursue their own agendas. You step in as a cultivator — gathering essence, climbing thirteen ranks from Foundation to Monarch, and shaping a world that never pauses for you.
Hand-painted, high-detail 2D environments and characters composited with 3D camera depth and lighting. Think cinematic stylization without the uncanny-valley cost of full 3D — every frame can read like illustration, every fight still feels physical and spatial.
Combat uses our Linear Motion Battle System — real-time 3D action with weak/strong attacks, combos, curve-based attack movement, dash cancels, and lock-on targeting. Enemies have readable tells (lunge, roar, volley) and dual energy pools (stamina + path-specific) gate your burst. No queues, no turns.
850,000+ simulated agents. Every one has a profession, needs (food, rest, safety, wealth), goals, memory, and relationships. They accept quests, travel, trade, fight, and die on their own. If you don't take a gathering job, a caravan master might. If a city's food supply collapses, quests and prices respond in real time.
Ten essence aspects — Fire, Water, Earth, Shadow, Void, Light, Air, Sword, Stone, Beast — each with distinct visual signature and combat feel. You sense essence, gather it, refine it into madra, and climb thirteen tiers of power. Each tier is ~10× stronger than the last. A Truegold beats a hundred Jades; a Monarch ends armies.
Same universe, different slices. Titan Saga is the flagship simulation — the full world, the full economy, the full combat. Titan Saga: Idle is a free mobile RPG set earlier in the chronicle, when mortals first bound themselves to fallen titans. Titan Saga: Dungeons is a mobile deckbuilding dungeon crawler under the world of the flagship. Lore cross-references; saves do not.
In active development. Wishlist on Steam for alpha invites, closed playtest keys, and the day-one launch announcement.
PC-first: Windows, macOS, and Linux via Steam. Console and Steam Deck are being evaluated for launch parity, not promised.
Yes. Titan Saga is a single-player simulation — the multiplayer fantasy comes from the fact that the world is full of autonomous agents who act like other players. No live services, no always-online, no season passes.
